Agriculture has changed dramatically since the first Dellingers farmed this land in the late 1800’s. The United States has seen a shift from small diversified family farms to industrial production controlled by a few large corporations.
Thankfully, consumers who are concerned about food safety, nutrition and the environmental impact of shipping food long distances are returning to their local farmers for local food. We are happy to be a small part of this change. At Dellinger Family Farms, we use sustainable agricultural practices to produce a variety of heirloom and hybrid vegetables. We specialize in Southern favorites. Our vegetable varieties are selected for taste and nutrition. We save our own open-pollinated seed, import seed from Italy, and NEVER grow genetically modified vegetables.
Our vision is to be a producer of high quality, sustainably grown food, while protecting the environment, preserving farm land for future generations and providing wildlife habitat.
Our mission is to provide fresh nutritious food in harmony with nature. We will continuously improve our soil, our methods, and our profitability.
We are located in the northwest corner of Gaston County near Cherryville, North Carolina.
